To watch your horse racing: :
Go to the "Stable Owner" page. In the "Next Race" column (6th column), select the race your horse is entered in.
A Pop-up window appears.
Select the TV sign to watch the race.
If the race is finished already, in the "Stable Owner" page select the race from the "Last race" column (5th column). A Pop-up window appears. Click on the TV sign to watch the race.

ZErace has developped a tool that allows you to watch your horse run in the same conditions of live, that means without knowing the outcome in advance:
General left side menu > My Profile & My Options.

By logging on the site, click first on the new link "My performance", placed for this purpose (link in the shortcuts, under the plan, homepage).
Then you have to click on the link visualization of the race (last column) that appears directly to this page if this option is selected. |
In the left hand side menu select "Stable Owner", then in the top bar menu select" My contract with Trainers/Jockeys to display the list of your horses.
Select "Choose" in the New trainer column to change trainer or in the New jockey column to change the jockey.
Enter the username of your new choice. |
Yes it is the player registered as jockey when the horse enters the race who gets the fee, even if he has not validated the racing tactic.
If he is missing often it is up to you, the owner, to decide to continue with him or to hire an other jockey!

Yes it is possible.
To do so, select Stable Owner button (left hand side menu), then select Sell a horse (top page menu), and click on the last column title Retirement.
Then you can decide not to keep this horse any longer (early retirement).

Each stallion receives 10 breeding points (breeding points = the right to breed with a mare) the first day of each month.
It is possible to earn an extra 20 breeding points each month.
As long as the 30 breeding points obtained throughout the month have not been touched, then the stallion earns 1 breeding point each time that he finishes among the first half of the horses in a public race. (E.g. third out of 6/7 participants, 4th out of 8/9 participants, 5 out of 10/11 participants etc...). |
The breeder has scheduled the covering for later.
You will receive the funds 28 days before the foal's birth, i.e. on the day of the visit of the veterinarian.

This error alarm can occur in two cases :
- the mare will be retired (permanent retirement) on the scheduled date for the birth. If you can not schedule the birth at an earlier date (because of the 28-day gestation period) then the covering is not possible.
- the stallion owner has not accepted your offer for the covering in due time. The scheduled date for the birth is in less than 28 days. There is no sufficient time for the veterinary to visit the mare for the start of the gestation period (28 days are required before the birth).

No, the mare can have one foal only.
The Sir of the foal will be the stallion of the owner to who you sent the covering request first (regardless of who accepted to sell the covering first).

Yes, it's possible at any moment as long as the breeding proposition hasn't been accepted by the stallion's owner.

There are two ways to find a record of this covering and the epxtec Birth date :
Solution 1 :
Go to the Breeder page and select My foals button.
Then in the Age selection menu, select Not born yet
Solution 2 :
Go to the Breeder page and select My mares. Click the name of your mare and select Genealogy button. You get the list of her foals, including the unborn ones. For example if you have already plan two births for this mare, one on the 1st of March and one on the 1st of April, both unborn foals will be listed.

While in the training program, you can select the option to repeat the training daily. The same program will be repeated automatically every day at random hours.

A horse who is trained regularly progresses globally with the exception of obedience that evolves only when the horse takes part to races.
You are referring to a game of chance most probably because of a lack of obedience. When obedience is poor, overall performances are not stable. Thus even after a 6-day training program where he has improved speed, stamina and flexibility, you may not see the results simply because he does not feel much like racing. It can be that the following day you get the opposite result.
So train the horse and enter him to races to better control what you perceive as chance (but actually it is not chance).

It means that the horse is at his maximum for the given characteristic.
This limit is part of his genetic code. It is not possible to get an extra square, no matter how fast or often the horse gets the squares.

Yes it is possible except in the case of a black square (please refer to the following question).
When the training mark is red (regression) in one of the characteristics, the horse can loose a square.
Important : Even with a good training a horse can still loose a square.
A training may translate in a regression in one of the characteristics : If the speed increases by 30 and the Stamina reduces by 10, training results are the same than when both the speed and the stamina raise by 10. The training results are the addition of the variations for each of the characteristics.

Once a horse gets a black square for a given characteristic, it can not regress. Therefore it can not loose this black square.

No there is no fundamental difference between manual training and automatic training: the results are similar for a given set of parameters.
Nevertheless, when using the manual training, you can fine-tune the parameters daily and, over a period of few days, you can set up a training program that is more precise than the automatic one.

ZErace automatic training program works the three performances in a fair and consistent way, and does not take into account black squares that may be granted.

Have you accepted the Jockey contracts?
Please select Jockey (on the left), then select My racing contracts with owners (top right). If there are outstanding contracts, either click the ball to confirm the contract or click the dustbin to reject it.
Once the contracts have been accepted select the Jockey button (menu on the left hand side) to get the list of the horses you will drive.
Then simply select the race then Prepare for the race (blue font).
Enter your strategy and click OK to register it.

| Category races are exclusively managed by zerace in flat racing. The whole 7% collected entry fees which do not go back into allowances are pooled into the monthly bonus cash prize which rewards all owners with horse that reach Category I for the first time (Hall of Fame). |
These monthly bonus cash prizes are intended to reward Stable Owners of horses reaching Category I for the first time.
Each horse generation has its own independent kitty calculated each month on the 7% collected by ZErace on category races during the previous month. The prizes are paid on the first day of each month in proportion to the number of owners. |

| To receive a portion of the monthly prize pool, it is necessary to reach the Class I. In other words, your horse in Class A needs to climb 3 additional categories. Listed, II and then I. |

Punters Meetings include the most prestigious races.
These races, sponsored by ZErace (an additional cash prize is added to the pot that is redistributed to owners whose horses finished the race with an eligible place for allowances), are the only races where it is possible to place bets. |
Nomination to Punters Meeting races starts at 8:30 pm CET (Central European Time) 2 days before the Meeting. Registration closes at 5:00 pm CET on the eve of the Meeting. Additional specificity to these Punters Meeting races: the drive strategy must be entered before this registration close, so before 5:00 pm CET on the eve of the Meeting.
You can locate these "Punters Meeting" under the "Stable Owner" section of the website: click the link "Race Search" and then select "Punters Meeting" from the field "Class" in the grey area named "filter". |
Eligible Horse rule aims at making a selection among nominated horses as demand to race the cash sponsored races (Punters Meetings) exceed the offer.
All horses are ranked during nominations in a descending order according to their net winnings (trotting, hurdle) or category (flat racing).
The ranking takes place in real time, taking into account each new registration and cancellation.
This ranking can be viewed in the Race Card.
The horses that qualify to race are those placed at the top of the list, within the limits of the maximum number of participants.
The horses classed too far down the list are placed on a waiting list. There is a possibility that they will become qualified to participate later on, if there is a sufficient number of cancellations of previously qualified horses.

| A reserve price is the lowest price at which you are willing to sell your horse(s). If you don’t want to sell it/them below a certain price, you can a set a reserve price. The amount of your reserve price is not disclosed to potential buyers and bidders. |
All players must take the initiative to organise a public race, i.e. a race that is open to all ZErace players.
When organising a public race, the racecourse Manager will be debited 48% of the inscription fee.
If the race reaches 5 or more participants, then the racecourse Manager is reimbursed the set-up cost and earns a commission that is equal to 7% of the total amount of the inscription fees.
As with every public race, 93% of the takings are redistributed among the winning horse owners.
If the race doesn't take place, or includes only 2, 3 or 4 participants, then the racecourse Manager does not get a refund on the set-up cost, and receives no commission.

A race can not be cancelled if there is at least one owner registered to it.

Above these numbers of runners, not only the racetrack manager will be reimbursed the deposit, but he won a success fee equal to 7% of nomination fees (number of runners time race entry fee)! |
On ZErace experience shows that this is not the supply, which stimulates demand, in terms of filling races.
Beyond a certain level, these races compete among themselves to undermine and ultimately to fill each of them.
Experience also shows that the players in general, prefer to run less often in races with 8 to 12 runners, than running most often in races with 2 to 4 runners.
In conclusion, if there were no risk to the creation of public race, there would undoubtedly be too many courses offered, and this would produce a devastating effect on the degree of filling races.
Furthermore, we believe that from the moment the manager has a hope of gain related to its initiative (Committee of success if its course met three starters in the race barrier or four starters in the race for Trot or Flat) it is normal that there is a risk involved. The two go hand in hand. |
